Review:

“There is no such thing as bad people. We are all just people, who do bad things”

I read this book at the time it was off the hype that bookstagram has given it. It’s safe to say, this one is worth it. This masterpiece is my first book by Colleen hoover and I cannot stop recommending it enough.

“It ends With US” is a heart-breaking and at the same time, a bold story that breaks a societal norm in a practical and more logical sense.

It is rightly said that sometimes the one who loves you the most is the one who hurts you the most too. Lily, who after completing her graduation, is now about to start her own business, finds herself in complete awe of Ryle Kincaid, an extremely gorgeous neurosurgeon, and that two hit it off. While Ryle is everything that Lily would have ever wanted in a guy, thoughts of Atlas Corrigan, her first love, often have her ceased.

Now that Atlas has reappeared suddenly, everything that Lily has with Ryle, becomes questionable.

The story ponders over the bright yet dark side of love that digs it’s claws into you and doesn’t let go. It is a heart wrenching yet wonderful narration of the other side of what love describes itself to be. It’s a fast-paced novel with extreme twists and turns, that you won’t be able to put down.

With a brilliant plot twist, Colleen Hoover has discussed a very sensitive topic in a much more practical sense and in a very simple writing style that makes one question every aspect of relationships that we are surrounded with.

Through a deeply personal experience, the author has not only explained the beauty of love and how it actually should look but also help to understand the difference between what is right and what is not, and how to be bold enough to stand for it.

A must read for all those who want to read something apart from a mainstream love story. This tale of emotions will leave you smiling and crying at the same time.

“You can stop swimming now, Lily. We finally reached the shore”.
